Meliodas wants to be the projection of our way of life, following these ideals we have decided to practice an Ethical Beekeeping!
We think that the beekeeper is an important guardian of the environmental balance, it is therefore essential for us to keep bees healthy, we prefer to follow their life cycle rather than shape it, we always try to conduct our apiaries in the least invasive way possible: we limit visits only to the bare essentials, we only take excess honey, leaving adequate stocks for the winter and do not adopt techniques that can damage the bees.
Awareness in our work is what distinguishes us and knowing that we are helping to leave the world a better place is what drives us to move forward.
Apiary is the place where we gather the bee families to be able to follow them during their lives, our Apiaries are located in north center Italy, province of Modena, but the choice of where to place them is not always so easy...we do not practice nomadism (bring bees in other regions to harvest honey), we look for places where we can establish ourselves for a long time so that the Bees help improve the habitat in which they find home!
Before placing the hives in a new site, we do a lot of research and establish very selective standards, in fact, first of all, we want our Bees to live in places most uncontaminated possible and where they best adapt to their needs: close to waterways and excellent nectar sources, away from pollution, intensive plantations or potential threats of reckless use of pesticides and, last but not least, we want that the chosen site, being also our workplace, transmits peace and serenity to those who spend time there...

"The bee embroiders invisible threads from one flower to another and sews the meadow of light. The pollen it carries with her, if you look closely, is a gold dust similar to stars, except that, instead of galaxies, it creates the spell of honey"
